Emperor strain Common Carp After 5 years of being exclusively members only, Wicksteed Carp Lake will soon open as a Day-Ticket water Wicksteed 'Lagoon' becomes Wicksteed Carp Lake Our exclusive water will now be open to all anglers. To kick-start the opening of this famous local venue, we are significantly increasing the Carp stock in March 2022. Exact weights and numbers will be confirmed at the time of stocking but we can report that we will have at least 10 fish going in over the magical 20lb mark, with plenty of other high doubles to back these up. Day-Ticket Fishing We are delighted to announce that from April 1st 2022 we will be offering DAY TICKET fishing at Wicksteed Carp Lake. Membership will also be available on a unique rolling-monthly contract to suit your campaign, without locking you in to annual subscriptions. New Bait Range To give our new fish the best start and the opportunity to grow even bigger, we have negotiated a bait deal with our new fish suppliers.
