The Future is Bright

Make the most of a golden opportunity this Spring and target some of the new arrivals at the lagoon.  This week saw the Clubs fish stocks boosted with a mixture of Carp, Roach, Rudd & Brown Goldfish to complement the Tench and silvers for our Summer-time piscators to chase.

In other news, the Club has been awarded an Environment Agency Habitat Improvement Grant.  We will use this money to renew the failed inlet pipe and restore the Lagoons water level.  We will also be treating the silt, restoring the floating islands and reinstating them near the drain in the middle of the lake.  These works will start in mid-March and should be completed during early April.

This years AGM will take place at 7pm on Sunday 28th March.  It will be a Virtual meeting this year, and all are invited to attend - more news on this to follow soon.
